About this work
Near Plaza Sotomayor, next to the endless Cienfuegos staircase (360 steps), is the Cordillera elevator, inaugurated in 1886. When going up or down, one cabin always crosses the other because the pulley system together with the weight balance of each car is what allows the funicular to work. This image allows us to see the cabin that goes down, framed in the cabin that goes up.

About our screen prints
Their production begins with the development of the black and white analog photographic film. We create color layers that are added to the photograph and develop them on screen printing matrices. By combining inks and pigments, we create a special color range for each series. Finally, each copy is printed by hand, layer by layer. All the works are numbered, signed, and stamped with its printing date.
