About this work

The photograph was taken from the kitchen window of the Fábrika workshop, where you can always see the comings and goings of the seagulls who love to build their nests on the roofs of the ravines. The pedestrian streets around offer calm so that they can live their daily life from above and close to the sea, as they reach the port with a movement of their wings. As the little seagulls grow, they train themselves to fly, trained by the large circles that all the adult seagulls make in unison.

About our screen prints

Their production begins with the development of the black and white analog photographic film. We create color layers that are added to the photograph and develop them on screen printing matrices. By combining inks and pigments, we create a special color range for each series. Finally, each copy is printed by hand, layer by layer.
